Monstera Adansonii is a beautiful, leafy green plant famous for the large holes its leaves resembling Swiss Cheese.
This house plant thrives in bright, indirect light to medium light with occasional watering about once per week depending on your climate.
All Monstera cuttings are roughly the same length, with varying leaf sizes. Each cutting is complete with atleast one node from which roots will sprout.
Unrooted-
Sometimes the node will have a little root coming out straight into the air, even before I cut it from the “mama”plant. I like to use these because they make hearty cuttings, best fit for travel. They are still considered ‘unrooted’.
Instructions: Place the cutting into water to stimulate more growth and when you start to see some nice roots form, it’s time for planting!
Rooted-
These cuttings have been spending their time in water and have started sprouting roots. They have about 3-5 roots with varying lengths.
Monstera adansonii prefers moist soil, but it is important to let them dry out between waterings and to use a pot with proper drainage holes in the bottom. Expect to water more often in high light and less often in low light.
